A crane removed the last two light poles and laid them on a transport truck early last week.
Controversy over the poles arose in mid-2011 when three mobile telecommunication providers proposed to install antennas on them, which nearby residents, childcare centres and businesses opposed.
The City of Wanneroo subsequently found the dimensions of the three poles exceeded the approved plans, with other light poles on the site much shorter.

Workers installed the shorter replacement poles on Thursday, May 16, and installed antennas on one later the same day.
