These cartoonists observed, dissected and drew audiences in to moments of tragedy and comedy in a year of political conflict and chaos, culminating in the federal election, the toppling of a government and a change of Labor party leadership.
Hosted by the City of Wanneroo, the free exhibition covers eight themes, with 82 cartoons from more than 35 cartoonists from around the country.
It will be on display at Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre Gallery from Friday, September 19 to October 19.
There will also be a free floor talk by Dagtoons caricaturist Dave Gray on October 2 from 6pm to 8pm.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm, and on weekends from noon to 4pm.
