Top drops rewarded

The Indian Ocean Brewing Company at Mindarie Marina recently won three categories in the Australian International Beer Awards.

Head brewer Dave Brough said the wins, including best in the Belgian Wit category for White Cap for which it received a silver medal, rewarded staff for their hard work and dedication.

‘We were up against more than 270 brewers from 35 countries who presented in excess of 1490 beers,’ he said.

Two other beers ” Britannia Best Bitter and Big Red ” both came equal top in their respective categories to receive silver medals, while the Indian Ocean Lager won bronze in the Dortunder Draught section.
