Try your hand at games of yesteryear

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

There will be games older readers may remember from their childhoods, such as Quoits, Old Maid, Skittles and Knucklebones, at the City of Wanneroo’s first Golden Games event in Yanchep on August 7.

Free Spirit Choir will perform at the social event, which is part of the City’s placemaking and activation project to engage centre users and determine their needs.

‘Golden Games will help us connect with active seniors so City staff can engage with participants to discover what future activities and services are needed for the centre and the area,’ Mayor Tracey Roberts said.
