WASTE water infrastructure upgrades in Two Rocks are due to finish late March.

Water Corporation assets delivery general manager Nathan Hardwick said there had been a few weeks added to the project to finish the last section of pipe being installed near the intersection of Lisford Avenue and Sovereign Drive in Two Rocks.

“The ground conditions in this area have been a lot tougher than expected so the excavation has taken longer,” Mr Hardwick said.

“I thank the Two Rocks and Yanchep communities for their continued patience while we complete this work, as we understand we have been in their neighbourhood a bit longer than we expected.”

Since the project started in early 2018, Water Corporation has installed more than 6km of wastewater pipeline, with just 31m remaining.

This upgrade is to help cater for the growth and future development of Two Rocks and Yanchep.

Mr Hardwick said areas around the work would be reinstated and cleaned up as closely as possible to its original condition, which would be finalised once all work finished.
