Uke players to show some pluck

UKULELE players from across Perth and as far as Geraldton will gather in Mindarie this weekend for the first Ukorama.

The North Coastal Women’s Shed Rainbow Ukuladies will host the ukulele festival at Peter Moyes Anglican Community School on March 12.

The event will include performances by Guppies Geraldton Ukulele, Merriwa Ukulele Club, Rock-N-Ukes, Ukendoit, Ukulele Rabble and WannaUke.

It will be held in the Allan Shaw Centre at the school on Salerno Drive, Mindarie, from 4pm to 9pm.
