Village committee prints paper to mark celebrations

The residents committee at Ridgewood Rise Village organised two sessions to mark the estate’s first decade on Sunday, July 7.

Part of the celebrations included a 24-page newspaper put together by committee member Peter Flemming and printed in the UK.

‘It covers the 10 years of life in the village from inception to present day,’ Mr Flemming said. ‘Something in excess of fifty group and social activities are recorded, with many photographs and copy.

‘It took about three months to put together with assistance from many residents.’

Mr Flemming said the newspaper was delivered to all residents and given to guests at their celebrations.
