Members of the Two Rocks Volunteer Marine Rescue, State Emergency Service, Yanchep Fire and Rescue, Driver Reviver volunteers and surf life saving club representatives attended the City of Wanneroo's emergency services volunteer appreciation function on June 19.

Yanchep Volunteer Fire and Rescue's Stefan Bolz received an award for his dedication and commitment towards promoting strong friendship, teamwork and high skilled members in the brigade.

Ken and Anke Rowland from Two Rocks Volunteer Marine Rescue Group received awards for their dedicated efforts to keep the ocean safe, collectively carrying out about a third of all radio shifts.

Wanneroo Joondalup State Emergency Service unit's Dorrit De Nooy earned her award through commitment to her role as an administration officer.

She attends every Wednesday evening training sessions to personally record member's details, liaising with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and recording unit activity and movements.
