Wanneroo council approves use of an office as a mosque

Councillors unanimously supported administration’s recommendation to approve the United Australia Islamic Association’s application to use an office on Sarasota Pass as a mosque.

Their decision to allow the discretionary use for a place of worship included six conditions, including that no more than 20 people would be allowed on the premises at one time, that it only operate between 8am and 8pm and that it comply with health regulations.
