Part of the plan proposes to demolish the toilet block and build replacement facilities that include changerooms.

Later work could include seating and shelters at the skate park and paths to it, replacing the bike track with a pump track and a potential fencing dog area.

MORE: Plans tabled at council briefing

At the Two Rocks Yanchep Residents Association meeting on August 27, Deputy Mayor Nat Sangalli said the council endorsement meant the City could add the upgrades to its long term plan and seek funding.

Resident Ed Whitchurch asked whether work was expected to start this financial year and Cr Sangalli said it would not as it was not listed in the budget.

The council report said timing would depend on funding in the City’s long-term financial plan.
