Wave barrier under way at Mindarie Marina

Managing director Martin Smith said they started installing 31 piles in August, and would attach large polypropylene panels to it.

Work is expected to finish by the end of this month.

He said with the 5km/h marina speed limit, and navigation beacons, it would be easy for users to navigate past the barrier.
