Website a helping hand for community

Sarah Cragg launched Pay it Forward, Northern Suburbs of Perth in February last year after she found herself in a time of need and thought to help others in similar situations.

‘There are people who need stuff but they’re scared of asking because they get embarrassed,’ she said.

‘I thought ‘why not have a site where people put up what they don’t need anymore that someone will need and appreciate’.’

The group grew so fast that Sarah had to create two new sites. ‘The page grew so quickly and enormously that people from the south were asking for things then driving to the north’
