ATLANTIS Productions theatre group will stage a play written by Yanchep author Barbara Yates Rothwell, What the Dickens this month.

Yates Rothwell also composed songs for the production, which is being directed by Alesana Pua, and has been giving the cast drama and script advice.

She said rehearsals had been going well with plenty of enthusiasm from the cast of seven.

“We are looking forward to getting that nervous energy going that will, we trust, lead to entertaining performances,” she said.

Performances will be at the Little Mermaid Theatre in the Phil Renkin Recreation Centre on June 14-17.

Each evening show will start at 7pm, and there will be a matinee on June 17 from 2pm.

Admission is by donation and seats can be booked by calling 9561 1125.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and books by Yates Rothwell will be on sale at each performance.
