Winning Lotto Tickets Sold in Butler

Tyler BrownNorth Coast Times

A SNAP decision proved valuable for a Butler single mother who was part of a 15-share lotto syndicate that won division one over the weekend.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever bought a syndicate ticket,” she said.

“I saw it advertised on the counter and I was in a rush so I said, ‘yep that will do’.”

The tickets, worth $67,546 to the winners, were sold at Brighton Village Newsagency in Butler.

“It’s a nice amount to win,” she said.

“I’d like to put some towards my mortgage and get something for the kids.

“I’ll definitely buy a syndicate ticket again.”

Store manager David Babington said this was the first division one winning lotto ticket they had sold since owning the store.
