The Quinn Rocks Fresh IGA employee braved the blades last Thursday for the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.

Mr Redmond told the Times he decided to take part in the fundraiser for the first time because a colleague was ‘going through a tough time with cancer’.

Meat manager Dave Little ran the electric shaver over the Kingsley resident’s scalp in store on March 12, before the pair swapped places and Mr Little faced the chop as well.

Mr Redmond said he raised $920.
