YANCHEP author Diana Smith visited a Two Rocks childcare centre to read her stories to children.

Smith recently visited Cuddles Early Learning and Childcare to share books that teach children and adults to live in the moment, My Gratitude Book and My Welcome Book.

The early education specialist wrote the books to support young readers as they navigate their way through the world, encouraging them to be kind, compassionate, confident and loving.

Gabbadah resident Sarah Jane Marchant, who runs art classes in Two Rocks, illustrated the books.

Smith said she was working on a third book in the life lessons series and a book about Clive the clam and his adventures on the beach with another illustrator Ria Carbone.
