Yanchep: Men face court after raids targeting bikies

A YANCHEP man (26) and a Cloverdale man (31) will face court next month following a police search at a Yanchep property on Friday as part of an ongoing operation targeting the Hells Angels motorcycle gang.

Gang Crime Squad officers searched the property on August 18 and seized cash, methylenedioxy-methamphetamine tablets, methylamphetamine, cannabis, ammunition, a pen gun, steroids and several smoking implements.

They charged both men with five counts of drug possession, two counts of possessing ammunition without a licence, two counts of drug possession with intent to sell or supply and possessing a firearm in circumstance of aggravation.

They also charged the Yanchep man with possessing stolen or unlawfully obtained property cash.

Both men are due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court on September 11.
