Yanchep police appeal for information about building site thefts

YANCHEP Police have appealed for information relating to thefts from a building site in Two Rocks on April 30.

Police are investigating an incident where a black utility pulled up outside a construction site on Sovereign Drive about 8.30am.

“Two men got out of the vehicle and began loading building materials from the construction site into the back of the utility,” Constable Chris Hickey said.

“After loading a considerable amount, the men got back in the vehicle and drove away.”

Const Hickey said the first man was described as being light skinned, aged 45-55, of solid build with short grey hair.

He was wearing a blue checked shirt with rolled sleeves and dark coloured shorts.

The second man was described as being light-skinned, aged 45-55, of medium build with wavy grey hair.

He was wearing a black checked, long-sleeved shirt, long light-coloured pants and sunglasses.

“The vehicle is described as possibly an early to mid-2000s Holden Rodeo utility, black in colour with a silver tray,” Const Hickey said.

Police have released a CCTV image of two men they believe can help with their inquiries as well as the vehicle.
