“The damage to our vehicles has rendered them non-operational, including the lifeguard vehicle which is stored in our club.

“These are the only vehicles we have to transport equipment to the beach.

“We can no longer conduct vital training in the off season as we cannot get our inflatable rescue boat to the beach.

“The club has recently purchased a fridge from a community sponsorship and that has been destroyed.

“As a volunteer lifesaving service, all our equipment is purchased through community support and the tireless work of our members.

“Everyone is devastated; we are just disappointed and absolutely gutted that members of the community lack respect for others.”
