Yanchep’s Bethanie Beachside holds annual Xmas parties

SENIORS enjoyed two days of festive celebrations at a Yanchep aged care facility this month.

Bethanie Beachside held its annual Beachside Xmas parties for residents and families on December 12 and 13.

Physiotherapist Rebecca Farrell said the facility had been holding the annual event since it opened a decade ago and this year about 150 residents and 80 family members attended.

“The Free Spirit Choir performed Christmas carols,” she said.

“We had a resident and volunteer dress as Santa and the guests enjoyed a traditional Christmas meal – turkey and ham with trifle or Christmas pudding for dessert.”
