I would like to acknowledge the person who picked up my mobile phone hands-free earpiece from the ground in the car park at Pearsall IGA on late Wednesday afternoon and carefully placed it near the trolley return where I found it the next morning, still working well.
I warmly appreciate that it was not broken, or kept by someone who could easily have re-set it and kept it.
The “sour” note for me is how surprised I was to find it, and the reaction from those whom I have told, how lucky I am.
It is sad that in today’s society we find such acts of integrity and honesty rare.
