Mobile phone black spot in Alkimos needs fixing

Jude Barr, AlkimosNorth Coast Times

I WONDER if anyone has any helpful and positive news on when the mobile phone black spot around Shorehaven Boulevard, Alkimos, and at Eden Beach is going to be looked at.

Apologies from Telstra and any other service do not cut it.

Waiting on the council to approve land for a transmitter does not either and hanging over the front fence in all weather whilst searching for reception does not wear well either.

Does anyone really know when we can use our mobiles and computers?

The nice new football field on Shorehaven Boulevard will not be new for long with youngsters on mini bikes screaming across the field (and no response from the police) and ripping up the newly planted seedlings is a shame.

Then the dog walkers who do not clean up after their animals make the field a crappy place for the children to kick a football.
