Joondalup Police hand out anti-theft stickers

Senior Constable Terry WelshNorth Coast Times

The signs read ‘all valuables have been removed from this vehicle’. We hope if thieves notice the message they will refrain from breaking a window or jemmying a lock, which will cost the owner hundreds to repair. The signs are also useful as a reminder for occupants to hide valuables, or better yet, take them out of the car when locking up. Police have been targeting vehicle break-ins at local train stations and beach car parks. We have noticed there’s still too many people leaving valuables in plain view. To pick up an anti-theft sign visit the Joondalup police station. You can also print one out here.
