Residents urged to stay safe

Sergeant Bob O’Sullivan, Crime Prevention UnitNorth Coast Times

You, your neighbours, your community and the police together can help to prevent and reduce crime by registering with Neighbourhood Watch in your area.

NHW has programs aimed at making individuals aware of crime prevention initiatives in and around homes, rural communities and in schools. To register as a participant visit www.nhw.wa.gov.au.

WA Police encourage residents to participate by signing up to the WA Police Facebook page, Twitter or the new ewatch program.

The latter is an email-based system that connects residents to their local police and their councils.
