Currambine resident complains of noisy emergency vehicle sirens

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

THERE must be an average of 25 murders a day committed in and around the Clarkson area.

I know because every half an hour there is a stream of police and ambulance vehicles with lights on and sirens blaring along Connolly Drive in Currambine all hours of the day and night.

I know it is important for emergency vehicles to use lights and sirens to notify everyone on the empty road, as well as the sleeping residents. However, as so many are required around the Clarkson area why not use some (rare) sense and put some more ambulance and police vehicles up there?

Alternatively, at least permit emergency drivers to switch off the sirens on empty, non-intersection streets.
