Special person

Neil Rumpf, ClarksonNorth Coast Times

It is with a great sense of gratitude that I write thanking the person or persons who handed in my wallet at Clarkson Police Station in the late afternoon on Wednesday, April 17.

I had collected the car I had loaned to my daughter from servicing at Clarkson Holden and while she was putting the baby seat back in I left my wallet on the spoiler on the boot and forgot to grab it.

I headed off in another vehicle and my daughter left soon after, but she was unaware that the wallet was on the boot.

A very kind person found it in the middle of Pensacola Terrace and handed it in.

Everything was still there: not only did I therefore not have to worry about the loss of the cards but also the licence of my wife who died in 2011, which I keep for sentimental reasons, was there as well.

Thank you so much to whoever handed in the wallet.

I don’t know who you are as no name was left with the police, but you are a very special person and this letter is my only chance to thank you.
