I am at a loss as to why the City of Wanneroo is continuing to allow parks and verges to become overgrown with long dry grass in view of Mr Hay’s statement.

Prior to the council elections, I and many other neighbours raised concerns with the existing councillors in our area only to have this issue fall on deaf ears.

I do now hope that the City takes our concerns seriously and actively implements a regular maintenance program for these grassed areas to ensure we are all protected.
