As the reigning Australian women’s darts champion, the Tapping resident will fly to Newfoundland in Canada on September 26, with seven other national representatives. ‘I think it is going to be a lot colder ” it is a good thing it is an indoor sport,’ she said.

Carter said this was her 18th year playing the pub sport for WA, and her fifth time competing in the world cup.

She plays in the weekly women’s competitions run by the Quinns Rocks Mixed Darts Association on Mondays at Quinns Rocks Sports Club, and in the Kingsway Superoos Darts Association’s mixed competitions on Thursdays at Kingsway Football and Sporting Club.
