The Northern Beaches Cycling Club will hold a repeat of last year’s YNP Challenge on February 2, with riders following a closed road criterium circuit through the park.

Club president Chris Howard said competitors had described it as the toughest criterium course in WA, with a climb and descent every kilometre giving cyclists opportunities for bold breakaways.

Dr Howard said spectators were welcome, with normal park entry fees applying.

‘In the inaugural 2013 event, a DJ entertained the large crowd who provided great support for all competitors,’ he said.
