Wanneroo City Council approved the plaque at Gumblossom Reserve sports amenities building during a confidential session at its June 24 meeting.

The plaque will recognise Steve Hallam’s ‘outstanding contribution’ to Joondalup City Junior Soccer Club (now Quinns Football Club) and the Wanneroo community.

According to the club’s website, Mr Hallam, who died last year, founded the club with Howard Crump, Steve Reely and Paul Hollins in 1993.
