The Roues Chaudes Cycling Club hosted Saturday afternoon racing at Bentley Technology Park, where the on-course thermostat hit 42 degrees.

In the E grade event, Under 15 rider Ibrahim Saeed, launched a brave attack on three South West Cycle Club riders with more than 1km to go. Disadvantaged by age-restricted gearing, he was pipped on the line to take second place.

In the C grade open event, both NBCC riders set personal records and picked off a number of riders on the final lap, averaging 45km/h for the final kilometre.
