EGLINTON youngster Kayden Minear just missed out on a podium finish at the 2019 Junior Motocross World Championship.

The 12-year-old came fourth in the 65cc class at the international competition held in Italy on July 13 and 14.

Fellow Aussie Ky Woods finished second in the same class, while the team came ninth overall.

Team manager Mark Willingham said he was “really happy with the effort from all the riders”.
