Mullaloo’s Barracudas won the men’s open category in round two of the Navy Surf Rowers League on December 1, followed by North Cottesloe Euroz.
The two clubs then switched places in the open women’s category, with North Cottesloe Mermaid Marine coming first and Mullaloo Twisties, second.
About 10 surf life- saving clubs participated in the event, which was hosted by Quinns Mindarie Surf Life Saving Club for the first time in its 30-year history.
North Cottesloe Westerfield also won the under-23 women’s races, while the Cottesloe Challengers and Joars won the men’s reserve and under 23 men’s categories respectively.
