North Coast Ball Club welcomes $300k grant for Gumblossom upgrades

Staff WriterNorth Coast Times

NORTH Coast Ball Club’s facilities in Quinns Rocks are set to improve with a $296,865 funding boost.

Funding to upgrade facilities at Gumblossom Reserve will been provided through the Federal Government’s Community Sport Infrastructure program.

North Coast Ball Club president Shane Thompson welcomed the funding for minority sports such as T-ball, baseball and softball.

“It would take a decade of fundraising and sponsorships to raise these funds, which will now deliver safer facilities for all of our children for next season,” he said.
