Glory community development officer Michael Garcia, brother of Perth veteran Richard Garcia, ran drills with the young football fanatics at St Andrews Park in the second week of the school break.
Community department manager Callum Salmon said the A-League club’s Soccer Schools program, which it runs four times a year, was a “wonderful chance for young players to learn the skills and attitudes that we value at Perth Glory”.
“We see a lot of progress made in all aspects of the game, whether it’s the skills or attitude to playing, from the start of the program to its conclusion and it’s rewarding for us on the sidelines to witness as coaches,” he said.
