YANCHEP Red Hawks Cricket Club has a new president.
Diane Whiteley, who was club secretary for two years, said she had been involved with community sporting clubs for more than 10 years and lived in Yanchep for 20.
“I believe that sport plays a vital role in the community for people of all ages, whether playing or volunteering,” she said.

The Hawks’ registration day will be at Oldham Park on Saturday, August 12 from 12.30pm to 5pm.
It will include a hit in the nets and a sausage sizzle.
