Warning downgraded for bushfire near Esperance

UPDATE: An emergency warning for a bushfire heading towards the Israelite Bay campsite, near Esperance on Western Australia’s south coast, has been downgraded to a watch and act.

The warning is for people in the vicinity of the Israelite Bay campsite, Cape Arid and eastern parts of Boyatup within Nuytsland Nature Reserve and Cape Arid National Park in the Shire of Esperance.

The alert level has been downgraded as campsites have been evacuated.
