Centrepoint Church looking for ways to serve North Yunderup community

Jill BurgessMandurah Coastal Times

CENTREPOINT Church is starting a new extension service in North Yunderup this month and keen to find ways to serve the community.

Since its beginning the church, led by Pastor Joel Chelliah, has had a heart to make life better for local communities and led several initiatives to help support schools, people with disabilities and single parents as well as running annual events such as Christmas breakfast and Love Thy Nieghbour.

Love Thy Neighbour started in 2014 when 320 volunteers committed their time to more than 3000 hours of community service, including yard renovations, youth activities, food hampers, helping renovate community gardens and pamper days for children with cancer.
