UPDATE 11am: Andreas Wacker was located by police safe and well in Nannup a short time ago.

EARLIER, police had concerns for the welfare of a German man missing since last Wednesday.

Andreas Karl Wacker was last seen at a petrol station on Chalgrove Avenue and Read Street in Rockingham about 6.55pm on Wednesday June 26.

He has not been in touch with his family in several days, which is out of character.

Mr Wacker is believed to be without his mobile phone.

He is described as fair skinned, with a slim build, approximately 180-185cm tall, light brown hair, blue eyes and a long goatee.

He was last seen wearing a brown, maroon, yellow and orange coloured check shirt made of a cheesecloth material.

He speaks German and some English.

Mr Wacker is believed to be driving a silver 2000 model Holden Rodeo utility, WA registration number 1BGI 858.

He could be travelling in the South West, particularly around the Nannup area.

Anyone who sees him or his vehicle is asked to call Police on 131 444.
