P-plater fined for failing to keep left

A WA driver has learned a hard lesson to keep left unless overtaking over the long weekend.

The driver was pulled over by Harvey Police on Forrest Highway in Lake Clifton, south of Mandurah.

Police said it was a “costly reminder” for the P-plater who was hit with a $150 fine.

The P-plater also lost three demerit points.

Police were praised by Twitter users for the move.

“It’s about time,” Mark wrote.
