WHEN it comes to romantic proposals, they do not get more grand than popping the question while on one knee with the Eiffel Tower as a spectacular backdrop.
Former Waroona girl Kellie Germain was blown away by the “perfect” gesture from her partner of 18 months Nick Hopson.
And of course she said ‘yes’.
The engagement was celebrated with a night out in Paris at Crazy Horse and Moulin Rouge cabarets.
Miss Germain said Mr Hopson won her heart over with flowers on their first date.
The award-winning model was also impressed when the Glamping Co owner built a teepee on the South Perth foreshore with lanterns and all her favourite foods.
“The setting of a Paris Eiffel Tower photo shoot for my early birthday present was nothing out of the blue for the generosity he has for showing his love for me,” she said.
“He booked an incredible five-balcony penthouse apartment with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower.”
“The photo shoot had only just begun when he held my hands, shaking them, saying ‘you know this is not just a photo shoot?’
“The moment we met we both said our favourite place was Paris and the magic of the Eiffel Tower.
“It was an amazing way for him to ask me to be his wife.”
