Forget downward dog – it’s lazing pig for yoga devotees south-east of Mandurah

GREENER Pastures Sanctuary, a vegan farm south-east of Mandurah, opened its paddocks up to yoga with a twist at the weekend.

Yogis achieved nirvana with the farm’s resident alpacas, goats and pigs.

There’s nothing like some downward piggy to relax the muscles.

Frieda Orr led the well attended yoga session in the pastures.

The goat pose extends the tendons in the legs.

Greener Pastures Sanctuary is a vegan farm near Waroona and the passion project of Rachael Parker.

She has rescued animals like Jimmy the wild boar, who was found lying next to his dead mother.

Steve the Alpaca, who was surrendered in May is also a proponent of personal training.

He was helped attendees increase their cardio at an event back in June.
