A NORTH Yunderup man pleaded guilty in Mandurah Magistrates Court today to two counts of possession of child pornography, indecently recording a child under 13, using a surveillance device to record a private activity and using a carriage service for child pornography material.
Peter Edwin Mears appeared in court via videolink from Hakea Prison where he is remanded in custody.
The court heard that Mears’ offending began in August 2014, when he filmed the private activity.
Mears filmed the child in July this year, then accessed child pornography in August.

READ NOWHe will be sentenced in Mandurah Magistrates Court on March 31 for using the surveillance device.
He will be sentenced regarding the other charges at Perth District Court on a later date.
