One dead in horror crash near Mandurah

Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash in Coolup, near Mandurah, last night (Friday, December 21) about 9.40pm.

A black Holden Commodore wagon travelling north on South Western Highway, approaching Tallathalla Road, left the road and hit a tree.

The 28-year-old driver, a man from Waroona, died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained during the crash.

Three other passengers were injured and received medical treatment.

Major Crash investigators want witnesses who saw the black Holden Commodore prior to the crash or may have been travelling along South Western Highway between Pinjarra and Waroona at the time and may have dash cam footage to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
