YOUNG riders with disabilities from throughout WA will converge on Fairbridge, near Pinjarra for the Riding for the Disabled Association WA (RDAWA) 2017 State Games on Saturday, September 9.
The Games provides an opportunity for RDAWA riders with disabilities to compete in friendly mounted games competition, demonstrating their abilities, achievements and skills.

READ NOWRDAWA executive officer Kelly Mansfield said more than 1000 riders of all ages with intellectual and physical disabilities attended centres around WA and the games was the one event where everyone came together to show the improvements they had made, not only as a rider but in their daily lives.
Riders participate in a range of individual games and the mounted fancy dress competition is a highlight of the day.
For the first time, the event will be open to the general public with face painting, balloon twisting a trackless train, biscuit decorating and a family treasure hunt.
