POLICE have charged a man with drug and gun offences after a traffic stop in Pinjarra yesterday.
About 9.40am police stopped a car driven by the man.
A search of him allegedly found prohibited drugs and police say a search of the vehicle revealed a number of firearms.

During the course of the search, it will be alleged that police located a large quantity of ammunition, firearm mechanisms/items consistent with the manufacture of firearms as well as prohibited drugs.
A 49-year-old man from Beverley has been charged with two counts of being an unlicensed person in possession of a firearm/ammunition and two counts of unlicensed manufacture of firearms/ammunition.
He has also been charged with possession of methylamphetamine and threats with intent to influence.
He was due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today.
A 51-year-old woman from Beverley has been charged with possession of cannabis and possessing drug paraphernalia.
She is due to appear at court on a later date.
