Pinjarra: warning issued to parents after St Joseph’s student approached by two men

AN alert has been sent to parents after a student was approached by two men in North Pinjarra yesterday.

The letter to parents said a Year 5 St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School student was waiting for the public bus in the Carcoola area in the morning.

A white van pulled up to the bus stop and two men got out of the van and approached the student.

The boy ran away.

One of the men had a beard and both were wearing jackets.

The man without a beard was wearing a hat and was shorter than the other man.

The incident has been reported to police.

Students are urged to take care when going to and from school.

Anything suspicious should be reported to parents, school and the police.
