RAVENSWOOD residents flocked to Moondyne Ramble Park playground on Saturday to celebrate the official opening of the redeveloped playground.

The playground was opened by Murray-Wellington MLA Robyn Clarke.

Shire of Murray President David Bolt said the project showed what could be achieved through the progress association and the Shire.

“Ravenswood Community Group shone bright as the representative group of its locality and was the driving force behind the development project,’’ he said.

Cr Bolt said shade sails would be installed, pending on the result of a funding application.

The playground redevelopment further supports an objective of the Ravenswood Local Community Plan 2016-2120.
