Up in smoke: bush marijuana crop found south-east of Perth goes to pot

A WANNABE “green-thumb” has been weeded out during a prescribed burn in Boddington, south-east of Perth.

It’s a new high for Parks and Wildlife officers who stumbled upon the budding crime scene, which had gone up in smoke, on Sunday.

In a joint venture, police and forensic officers investigated the scene.

While the identity of the owner is hazy, Boddington police posted photos of the remains on Twitter, calling it a “win” for the department.
