Alcoa beach netball competition returns to South Yunderup

THE Alcoa Nets by the River competition is back on October 20-21, presented by Pinjarra Netball Association and Alcoa’s Pinjarra alumina refinery.

The beach netball competition at Tatham Reserve, South Yunderup will encourage players aged 10 through to adults from across the Peel region to have fun in the sun while playing the popular sport.

Netball is a popular social and physical sport and will cater for all abilities from beginners to experienced.

Communications officer Stephanie Gardner said the competition promoted community health and safety.

The two-day event is a mixed team only competition and teams can register at www.pinjarra.wa.netball.com.au.
